ਹੇ ਭਾੲੀ! ਮੈਂ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਪਾਸੋਂ ੲਿੱਕ ਖੈਰ ਮੰਗਦਾ ਹਾਂ (ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਅੱਗੇ ਮੈਂ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰਦਾ ਹਾਂ) ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਮੈਂ ਤੇਰਾ ਨਾਮ (ਸਦਾ) ਸਿਮਰਦਾ ਰਹਾਂ, (ਤੇਰੇ ਸਿਮਰਨ ਦੀ ਬਰਕਤਿ ਨਾਲ) ਸਾਰੀਅਾਂ ਮੁਰਾਦਾਂ ਪੂਰੀਅਾਂ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦੀਅਾਂ ਹਨ।

Hey! I ask for the fair from God (the Lord before God), Lord! I will be meditating on your name (always) meditating on (with the blessing of The Simran).

(ਮਨੁੱਖ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ) ਜੋ ਵੀ ਦਿਨ ਅਾੳੁਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ੳੁਹ ਲੰਘ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ; (ਭਾਵ ੳੁਮਰ ਘੱਟਦੀ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ, ਸਮਾਂ ਬੀਤਦਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ) ਅਤੇ ੲਿਥੋਂ ਹਰੇਕ ਨੇ ਕਿਸੇ ਨਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਟੁਰ ਜਾਣਾ ਹੈ, ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਵੀ ੲਿੱਥੇ ਸਦਾ ਨਹੀਂ ਰਹਿਣਾ।

ਅੈਸੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਕੀ 

ਕੀਟਿ ਹਸਤੀ ਜੀਤਾ।।

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਸੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਕੀੜੀ ਵੀ ਹਾਥੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਚਰਨ ਸਰਨਿ ਗੁਰ ੲੇਕ ਪੈਡਾ ਜਾੲਿ ਚਲ

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਵਡ ਪਾੲਿਅਾ

ਜਿਵੇਂ ਭੁੱਖਾ ਖਾਂਦਿਆਂ ਸ਼ਰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦਾ, ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦਾ ਸੇਵਕ ਆਤਮਕ ਭੁੱਖ ਮਿਟਾਣ ਲਈ ਚਾਅ ਨਾਲ ਹਰੀ ਦੇ ਗੀਤ ਗਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

(ਹੇ ਜਿੰਦੇ) ਤੈਨੂੰ ਕਬੀਰ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਆਖਦੇ ਨੇ - "ਕਿਸੇ ਨੇ ਭੀ ਤੇਰਾ ਸਾਥੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਣਨਾ" (ਇੱਕ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਹੀ ਅਸਲੀ ਸਾਥੀ ਹੈ) ਤੂੰ ਵੇਲੇ ਸਿਰ (ਹੁਣੇ ਹੁਣੇ) ਉਸ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਨੂੰ ਕਿੳੁਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਿਮਰਦੀ।

(O soul) Kabir Sahib says to you - "No one should be your partner" (One Lord is the real partner) why don't you (just now) remember that Lord in your Heart in time.

I do not seek an empire or liberation. Let my mind be in love with your Lotus feet.

ਮੇਰਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਸੁੱਖ ਤੁਝ ਹੀ ਪਾਸਿ।।

ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਮਾਲਕ! ਮੇਰੇ ਵਾਸਤੇ ਕੋਈ ਹੋਰ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਥਾਂ ਨਹੀਂ, ਜਿਸ ਕੋਲ ਮੈਂ ਬੇਨਤੀ ਕਰ ਸਕਾਂ। ਮੈਂ ਆਪਣਾ ਹਰੇਕ ਸੁਖ ਹਰੇਕ ਦੁੱਖ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੋਲ ਹੀ ਪੇਸ਼ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹਾਂ।
