ਅੈਸੀ ਭਗਤਿ ਗੋਵਿੰਦ ਕੀ 

ਕੀਟਿ ਹਸਤੀ ਜੀਤਾ।।

ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਭਗਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਐਸੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਇਸਦੀ ਬਰਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਕੀੜੀ ਵੀ ਹਾਥੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਜਿੱਤ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤ ਕਰ ਲੈਂਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਚਰਨ ਸਰਨਿ ਗੁਰ ੲੇਕ ਪੈਡਾ ਜਾੲਿ ਚਲ 

ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਕੋਟਿ ਪੈਡਾ ਅਾਗੇ ਹੋੲਿ ਲੇਤ ਹੈ।।

ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਸ਼ਰਧਾ ਭਾਵਨਾ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਕਦਮ ਵੀ ਸਤਿਗੁਰਾਂ ਦੀ ਸਰਨ ਵੱਲ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਤਾਂ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਦਿਆਲ ਹੋ ਕੇ ਉਸ ਸਿੱਖ ਦੇ ਇੱਕ ਕਦਮ ਦੇ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਕਰੋੜਾਂ ਹੀ ਕਦਮ ਆਪ ਤੁਰ ਕੇ ਉਸਨੂੰ ਅੱਗੋਂ ਹੋ ਸੰਭਾਲਦੇ ਹਨ।

ਦੁਖੁ ਦਾਰੂ ਸੁਖੁ ਰੋਗੁ ਭੲਿਅਾ 

ਜਾ ਸੁਖੁ ਤਾਮਿ ਨ ਹੋੲੀ।।

(ਹੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ! ਤੇਰੀ ਅਜਬ ਕੁਦਰਤ ਹੈ ਕਿ) ਬਿਪਤਾ (ਜੀਵਾਂ ਦੇ ਰੋਗਾਂ ਦਾ) ਇਲਾਜ਼ ਬਣ ਜਾਂਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਓਹਨਾ ਲਈ ਦੁੱਖ ਦਾ ਕਾਰਨ ਹੋ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਸੁਖ ਵੇਲੇ ਇਨਸਾਨ ਪਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਨੂੰ ਭੁੱਲ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

(O Lord! There is your vunctory that) is the treatment of the tribulation (living diseases) treasures and causes the pain for it. Because the human being happily happiesting God.

ਸਤਿਗੁਰੁ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਵਡ ਪਾੲਿਅਾ

ਹਰਿ ਰਸਕਿ ਰਸਕਿ ਫਲ ਲਾਗਿਬਾ।।

ਹੇ ਭਾੲੀ! ਗੁਰੂ (ਸਭ ਦਾ) ਸੱਜਣ ਹੈ, ਗੁਰੂ ਮਹਾ ਪੁਰਖ ਹੈ, ਜਿਸ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਗੁਰੂ ਮਿਲ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ, ੳੁਹ ਮਨੁੱਖ ਬੜੇ ਸੁਅਾਦ ਨਾਲ ਪ੍ਰਮਾਤਮਾ ਦੀ ਸਿਫਤ ਸਲਾਹ ਦੇ ਫਲ ਖਾਣ ਲੱਗ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਗੁਣ ਛੋਡਿ ਅੳੁਗਣ ਕਮਾਵਦੇ 

ਦਰਗਹ ਹੋਹਿ ਖੁਅਾਰੁ।।

ਜੂਅੈ ਜਨਮੁ ਤਿਨੀ ਹਾਰਿਅਾ 

ਕਿਤੁ ਅਾੲੇ ਸੰਸਾਰਿ।।

ਜਿਹੜੇ ਜੀਵ ਗੁਣ ਛੱਡ ਕੇ ਅਉਗਣ ਕਮਾਉਂਦੇ ਹਨ, ਉਹ (ਆਖ਼ਰ) ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਦੀ ਹਜ਼ੂਰੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਰਮਿੰਦੇ ਹੁੰਦੇ ਹਨ। ਅਜਿਹੇ ਜੀਵ (ਮਾਨੋ) ਜੂਏ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਨੁੱਖਾ ਜਨਮ ਹਾਰ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ। ੳੁਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਸੰਸਾਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਉਣਾ ਵਿਅਰਥ ਚਲਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

Forsaking virtue, they practice evil; they shall be miserable in the court of the Lord. They lose their life in the gamble; why did they even come into the world?
