ਨਿੰਦਾ ਭਲੀ ਕਿਸੈ ਕੀ ਨਾਹੀ
ਮਨਮੁਖ ਮੁਗਧ ਕਰੰਨਿ।।
ਮੁਹ ਕਾਲੇ ਤਿਨ ਨਿੰਦਕਾ
ਨਰਕੇ ਘੋਰਿ ਪਵੰਨਿ।।
ਕਿਸੇ ਦੀ ਭੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਨੀ ਚੰਗਾ ਕੰਮ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ। ਮੂਰਖ ਮਨਮੁਖ ਲੋਕ ਹੀ ਨਿੰਦਾ ਕਰਿਅਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ। (ਲੋਕ ਪਰਲੋਕ) ਵਿੱਚ ੳੁਹੀ ਬਦਨਾਮੀ ਖੱਟਦੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਭਿਅਾਨਕ ਨਰਕ ਵਿੱਚ ਪੈਂਦੇ ਹਨ।
It is not good to slander anyone, but the foolish self-willed manmukhs still do it. The slanderers are put to shame & they fall into the most horrible hell.

ਕਹਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਥਿਰੁ ਨਾ ਰਹੈ ਜਿੳੁ ਬਾਲੂ ਕੀ ਭੀਤਿ।।
ਹੇ ਮਿੱਤਰ! ੲਿਹ ਗੱਲ ਸੱਚ ਜਾਣ ਕਿ ਜਗਤ ਦੀ ਸਾਰੀ ਹੀ ਰਚਨਾ ਨਾਸਵੰਦ ਹੈੈੈ। ਨਾਨਕ ਅਾਖਦਾ ਹੈ ਕਿ ਰੇੇੇਤ ਦੀ ਕੰਧ ਵਾਂਗ (ਜਗਤ ਵਿੱਚ) ਕੋੲੀ ਵੀ ਚੀਜ਼ ਸਦਾ ਕਾੲਿਮ ਰਹਿਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਹੈ।
The world and its affairs are totally false: know this well, my friend. Says Nanak, it is like a wall of sand; it shall not endure.

ਦੁਕਾਲੰ ਪ੍ਣਾਸੀ
ਦੲਿਅਾਲੰ ਸਰੂਪੇ।।
ਸਦਾ ਅੰਗ ਸੰਗੇ
ਅਭੰਗੰ ਬਿਭੂਤੇ।।
ਹੇ ਪ੍ਭੂ! ਤੂੰ ਬੁਰੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਿਅਾਲੂ ਸਰੂਪ ਵਾਲਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਸਦਾ ਸਾਰਿਅਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਗ-ਸੰਗ ਰਹਿੰਦਾ ਹੈਂ, ਤੂੰ ਕਦੇ ਨਾ ਨਸ਼ਟ ਹੋਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਸ਼ਕਤੀ ਹੈਂ।
You are the destroyer of hard times & embodiment of mercy. You are ever present with all, you are the indestructible & glorious, O Lord!

ਰਾਖੁ ਪਿਤਾ ਪ੍ਭ ਮੇਰੇ।।
ਮੋਹਿ ਨਿਰਗੁਨੁ
ਸਭ ਗੁਨ ਤੇਰੇ।।
ਹੇ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਪਰਮੇਸ਼ਰ! ਮੈਨੂੰ ਗੁਣ-ਹੀਣ ਨੂੰ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ। ਸਾਰੇ ਗੁਣ ਤੇਰੇ ਵੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਹਨ, ਜਿਸ ਤੇ ਮਿਹਰ ਕਰੇਂ, ੳੁਸ ਨੂੰ ਮਿਲਦੇ ਹਨ। ਮੈਨੂੰ ਭੀ ਅਾਪਣੇ ਗੁਣ ਬਖਸ਼ ਤੇ ਅੳੁਗਣਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਬਚਾ ਲੈ।
Same me, O my Father Lord! I am worthless & without virtue: all virtues are yours. (Unto whom you are merciful, You bless them with virtues: Bless me with your virtues & save me from sins).

ਗਾਵੀਅੈ ਸੁਣੀਅੈ ਮਨਿ ਰਖੀਅੈ ਭਾੳੁ।। ਦੁਖੁ ਪਰਹਰਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਘਰਿ ਲੈ ਜਾੲਿ।।
(ਅਾੳੁ, ਅਕਾਲ ਪੁਰਖ ਦੇ ਗੁਣ) ਗਾੲੀੲੇ ਅਤੇ ਸੁਣੀੲੇ ਅਤੇ ਅਾਪਣੇ ਮਨ ਵਿੱਚ ੳੁਸਦਾ ਪਰੇਮ ਟਿਕਾੲੀੲੇ। (ਜੋ ਮਨੁੱਖ ੲਿਹ ਅਾਹਰ ਕਰਦਾ ਹੈ) ੳੁਹ ਅਾਪਣਾ ਦੁੱਖ ਦੂਰ ਕਰਕੇ ਸੁੱਖ ਨੂੰ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਵਸਾ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।
Sing & listen the praises of the Lord & let your mind be filled with love. Then your pain shall be gone & peace shall come to your home.
